“ Great food and good ambiance at this hidden gem in Barcelona. ”
“ What a hidden gem. I had a doctor’s appointment near by and decided to treat myself after with a nice meal (a bit later than my usual so I knew the local spots would be open—later for me is 8 p.m.). The outdoor and indoor decor here is modern yet not pretentious and still comfy. Even though it was a bit chilly (for BCN standards), the outdoor seating was still warm and cozy. I opted for indoors and was pleasantly surprise with a comfy table for one. I had a lovely glass of Ribera del duero (which the woman helping me recommended) and then I took her advice and ordered the salchicha with a side of lechuga (without cebolla because I don’t like raw onion). It was fabulous. Probably the best sausage I’ve had. I also opted for the bread (without tomate) and I probably could have eaten that alone all night if I hadn’t loved the salchicha so much because it was also perfection. I rounded off the meal with a delicious priorat also recommended. ”
“ Perfect!!! One of the best places to have a meal in Barcelona. Everything tastes amazing. ”
“ We had a wonderful experience. We arrived 45 minutes late after struggling to get a taxi near las ramblas, which was closed to vehicle traffic…they took us in graciously, gave us a beautiful table inside, served us an amuse bouche and got us drinks. What followed was consistory high quality service and food. ¡Bravo! ”
“ An upscale looking restaurant with a lot of incredibly good traditional food. Mediterranean dishes simply but carefully prepared, full with flavour. The tomato tartare was the most unexpected and amazing dish, 100% worth trying! ”
“ Our culinary journey commenced with the finest bread with tomatoes in Barcelona, setting the tone for an exquisite meal. The croquettes were a delightful highlight, boasting a creamy texture that left a lasting impression. The meat selection surpassed expectations, offering a truly delightful surprise. To conclude our lunch on a high note, we indulged in a flan – a dessert of sheer magnificence, undoubtedly the best I've ever had. ”
“ Awesome. Three of the hosts were very kind and polite. Had good food, wine and beer. ”
